Our client, who is a major player in the Oil & Gas Industry, is currently looking to employ an Invoice Processing Officer to join the team based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The position
To provide Technical Assistance, He/She will be handling all tasks related to A/P (payable) management: invoice processing and filing , SAP data capture, maintaining up-dated records on payable accounts, contracts/Pos draw downs and preparing data for accurate cost follow-up.
Receive and process on a daily basis all field data from ops (rig) and compute towards a real time follow up of the drilling costs
Assist in preparing the costs control and package budget execution reports , including commitments, accruals and costs trends analysis
Any other duties as may be assigned by the his/her hierarchy from time to time
Your duties will include:
-Handling the invoice verification and SAP processing, as well as preparing related monthly accruals
-Assist in checking and computing of all field cost, time & resource submissions,
-Prepare data for effective cost and budget control, and cost trend analysis
Context and environment: Nigeria.
The project is a new field development in 700 m water depth and 80 km south of the Nigerian coast.
The area is being developed with 30 subsea wells connected to a 2MMbbls storage FPSO via 2 production loops, 2 water injection lines and 1 gas injection line.
This position is a permanent position and based in Lagos Nigeria

Required Skills/Experience: Qualification: Bsc degree in accounting and finance or equivalent in Project Management, Engineering or Business Studies
Professional Experience (number of years): 5+ years previous similar experience in invoice processing within cost/accounting discipline in oil and gas with experience in drilling and/or joint venture accounting.
SAP
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, BW a plus); Work independently; reliable and organised, Positive attitude.
